A pair of activists from the Middle East shared their message of peace with students and faculty of Anderson University. Hossein and Noa gave insight into what's facing their region during this time of unrest and how nonviolence is an avenue of hope they are promoting.
Alizadeh said his goal is to make people think about alternatives to war. "My main purpose is to educate people to think and realize there is a lot they can do to promote peace. It isn't just in the hands of the government," he said. "Everyone has a voice."
Noa said, "I realize my narrow-mindedness and that of Israel. We only see our own truth and reality and don't take time to see how Palestinians view things."
