HOSTETTER LEADS CONFERENCES AGAIN!

Doug Hostetter, recent chief Middle East correspondent for the American Friends Service Committee, returns to Anderson to speak four times during the North American Convention. He chairs the Mennonite Peace Committee, Evanston, IL, and is an adjunct professor at Goshen College. 8:30 a.m. conferences are scheduled Monday through Wednesday at Park Place Church, with a 7:00 a.m. breakfast there on Wednesday.

Dr. James W. Lewis, chair of the Church of God Peace Fellowship, says that last year's high interest in and record attendance at Hostetter's conferences prompted the steering committee to extend a return invitation. "Concern for peace in the Middle East is even greater this year," Lewis adds. "Doug's mediation work is biblically based and current. He recently returned from an inter-faith mission to the Middle East, and maintains unique ties with both Arabs and Jews. These conferences are rare opportunities for Church of God people to become informed about and involved in peacemaking."
